Just 5 miles north is Mims and we stayed at a great park called seasons in the sun. The park was very clean, folks were nice, and we have already paid for next year. Heated pools, hot tubs, had activities like pickle ball, horseshoes, shuffle board, water exercise, yoga. Jim Shoe is right the area is depressed a little since the closing of Nasa program. However you are in the middle of 30-40 min. from Smyrna/Daytona beach, 30 min. from Cocoa, 30-40 min from Orlando. Merritt Island is awesome with great beaches.
