We have stayed there a couple of times. It is fine. Nothing fancy. Historic school house. The road getting to it needs some work.

There is a lot of natural beauty in the area, but the full-hookup RV parks are pretty much generally similar to the ones located everywhere else. IMHO, most all RV parks have become trailer parks.

We will stay at the state parks in the area, but of course it is dry-camping.

We did an overnight at Emerald Forest on our way to the Oregon Coast in May 2013.

We've stayed at Sounds of the Sea a couple of times. We would return. Right next to it is Emerald Forest if memory serves me correct. My daughter & her family stayed there & liked it. Further south, Mad River is another nice facility. We first stayed at both it & Sounds of the Sea when they were first constructed. RV's were different than. (We had what we understood to be the largest Class C available. A 26'er. And certainly no slides.) Parks constructed in those eras can seem somewhat lacking compared to newer facilities.

Have stayed there many times......it has been a few years though since staying there. Unless things have really changed.....we really liked the park.
