And I have to be honest that the days when I was a father of young children are long in the past. I did have my opportunities to demonstrate my strength as a father and as a man and looking back they are some of the highlights of my long life. I pray that this will be such an experience for you.
OK, lets see exactly where you are in Pennsylvania. Are you close enough to drive on to Gettysburg while your trailer is disabled? If not, what is in your immediate area. You have probably already tried to find out -- Google will be a better friend that any of us on the forum, though we care more! Draw a circle around you based on what you can reasonably get to while waiting for your trailer and "mine" the internet for every possible attraction or interest.
If you let us know where you are some of us will assist by doing some of the internet searching. On the other hand, you might just rather us stay out of it.
