Thanks for sharing your trip with us. I am glad you decided to push on after the broken axle. We've had our share of tow vehicle breakdowns and never let that stop us, thanks to AAA Plus with RV.
It is definitely a trip that you and your kids will remember forever and you taught the kids a life long lesson - when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
The only negative I have for you is: I can't believe you had Pizza in Baltimore and NYC, but missed the best pizza in the world in Philadelphia. Oh well. Next time. :)
