endless possibilities.
we live in nc and have the advantage of enjoying the mountains and the coast. for what its worth from our experience. you mentioned full hookups. most nc and va state parks will be 30 amp and h20 no sewer connect on your site but community dump station. if you can don't let that deter you. va and nc have great parks. we have had no problem having large spacious sites with our 37 ft TT.
some of our favorites
-- kerr lake state park nc has a good number of water front sites. kerr lake shares nc and va border north central nc
--smith mountain lake state park va south central va
--falls lake state park nc north of raleigh
--asheville area mama gerties rv park. great mountain views
--outerbanks area
koa cape hatteras/rodanthe ocean front. keep in mind there is a large sand dune on all of the outerbanks so you won't have ocean views but short walk to beach.
frisco woods campground frisco nc outer banks area but this is on the western or 'sound" side of outerbanks. beautiful views of the sound
-- koa new bern nc. located on neuse river great views and close to downtown new bern. small quaint town on the water.
-- wilmington koa no views but well kept and nice size sites centrally located inside wilmington. lots to do in wilminton
--koa natural bridge va. western part of virginia. nice mountain small town area
