visiting Valley of the Rogue State Park in Oregon

We plan on a one night stay at this State Park around December 19th or 20th. Does anyone know if it's crowded then? Not sure which day so don't want to pre-register. Would hope we could just pull ...

If you are turned away for lack of a site, there is a rest stop right next to the entrance to the campground. As to how long you can stay there, ?
