Weather forecast for after Christmas

If it's any consolation, this is what it really looked like on 12/8 and more than a week later there is still snow on the ground. One more week and then headed south.:B

for one month in Florida.. I get 3 months in very South Texas.. same money.

less people, less traffic, less cost ... my opinion.
much better hospitality. even in the Wal-Marts..:)

Free, 6 pool tables.... fully equipped wood shop. pool and hot tub.
motorcycle club.. bicycle club. many types of games... indoor and outdoors.

LOL. I am so going to drink all your beer one day for all this abuse I'm taking. ;)

Merry Christmas to all my friends in TX. Enjoy your high temperatures that are lower than our lows. Hope your kids enjoy the money you saved by wintering in TX.:B

Ivylog is buying beer for all his 'ol Texas buddies. I'm guessing Yuengling cause he knows how much we enjoy good stuff at a fair price.

None of that WPB phoo-phoo beer that you choke down, and pay through the nose for. :B

I like the beer from the oldest brewery...come on down I'll buy.

We are supposed to leave on Thursday for Texas. Weather forecast is for single digits and below from now until next week sometime. I have already booked a motel in central Illinois for our first night. After that we hope to stay in campgrounds. Should have left a month ago like we usually do. :R

Just cleaned off some of the snow this AM. I hope the powdery stuff on the roof blows off as it is too dangerous to try to get it off now.
