I love South Texas and have been coming here for ten years but if I was buying a ticket to go somewhere for the next two weeks, there are much warmer places to choose from.

I'm pretty convinced we get 2-6 weeks of winter here. If you're a 1,2, or even 3 month snowbird and we get 6 weeks that's the makings for an unhappy camper.
Last couple of winters were in the 2 week range. Very nice.
