What part of Texas are you in? That is not the forecast for the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. Weather people are predicting a High of 44 degrees on New Year's Day for the RGV. Sunday does not sound too bad and then back in the freezer, with highs around 50 degrees F for the foreseeable future.
I agree that it is friendly and cheap. That's why a lot of us are here.
