We used RP for spur of the moment weekend getaways back when I had a TT. Even stored it there for a season. It's definitely not a destination campground, but it's a good enough base camp. Nothing else really close to West Friendship.
Lantly had a good idea about the Howard County Fairgrounds, but I am pretty sure they are dry camping for people attending events only.
