And I will add another possibility. We stayed another time out at Red Rock RV Park in Island Park, ID. Sure it adds a few miles at the start of the day, but it is a delightful drive in itself, and the area around Island Park was a great part of our experience that year. We even got to attend an exciting youth rodeo just down the road from the RV park less than a mile away. Johnny Sach's cabin is worth a visit; quiet, peaceful, very few visitors. A good place to be away from the crowds for a few hours.
