If my count is right there are 180 National Parks / Historic places in those states - we have been to 72. Obviously, we love the National Parks.
Wikipedia states there are 59 national parks in the whole U.S. I didn't take the time to check them out.
You told one person no national monuments. So now is it o.k. to include national monuments, national seashores, national lakeshores, national scenic rivers, and historic places?
The same national parks are getting repeated over and over because that's where most vacationers go. However, there are many more gorgeous 'national-designated' areas and some, we think, are even better than the national parks.
Not trying to tell you how to run your survey but you seemed to change the requirements now. Please clarify.
