You can certainly drive through the "Wildlife Loop" in Custer State Park in your RV, but it is a shame you will most likely not be able to drive through the tunnels on the Needles Highway and the Iron Mountain Road.
These three things stand out at least equal to Mount Rushmore in our memory of a week spent in Custer, SD.
Hope you have a great time. We enjoyed a month long visit to Australia some years ago. Drove a rented car from Adelaide to Sidney. Were in Sidney for the New Year's celebration.
