Kentucky Horse Park hands down. There is a VARIETY of events going on all year long along side the CG area a short walk or ride. From Olympic trials you name it. IMHO very interesting for all ages. Museums and shops abound also on the grounds.
I stay for weeks at a time and never leave the grounds there is so much to see. Last year a group practicing for the National competition of some real interesting type of square dancing had their annual dinner and was set up behind me. Great music, great people.
BTW: KHP also has what they call 'primitive parking' area. It really is NOT primitive. It is near the front on the grass, big sites pick you own. Water and electric and the dump station is right outside the CG area on the entrance road. I always stay i
