Stay at Fisherman's Memorial Campground. From there you can head out to Newport,lots of shops and site seeing...Mansions, Cliffwalk. Battleship cove in nearby Fall River Ma. is great to see if you're a history buff. There is a new train station in South Kingston that you could take the train (it's called the T around these parts)into Providence or Boston if you wish. Living in RI I probably take too much for granted as far as what "I" might call an attraction,but we've go the BEST restaurants and beaches around.If you're a lobster lover and don't mind shelling out a $100 bucks a head check out the Nordic Lodge in Charlestown.All you can eat lobster,everything seafood ,fillet mignon and dessert bar to die for.
