Where are you camping for Labor Day?

Nothing wrong to respond with "staying at home". If all the folks who stay at home on the holidays were to camp instead, those of you who enjoy holiday camping wouldn't be able get a campsite.

I hope I never get to where I only want to be only at a quiet cg and avoid holiday weekends. I do try to leave at the right time to avoid some of the traffic but do prefer the cg full as opposed to empty.

We camped Memorial Day, The 4th, and now Labor Day..... Will do it again next year

I was planning on saying the same thing.

We are going to FD Roosevelt State Park in Pine Mountain, GA with a few friends. Never been there, so hoping for the best and anything to beat this mid-90's heat we've been dealing with all summer in FL. Other family members are going to Gamble Rogers State Park in Flagler Beach.

We don't mind camping on holidays. The campground will be at or near capacity (like any decent campground in the smokies during the fall), and the only time its really any trouble is on Friday night when everyone is getting there. From about 5 to 7 PM, its normally a zoo.

Staying home and enjoying the lake.

Lake Monroe, Indiana until Saturday morning. Then, the Mor Ryde parking lot in Elkhart.
Sooooo happy this is the last holiday to deal with until Memorial Day 2016!

On my sister's property in Flathead Lake MT. I should arrive some time tomorrow.

The beauty of retirement is that we can stay home avoiding the crowded cgs and then camp during the less crowded times.

We're staying home.

Staying at Beaver Lake campground in Custer SD. Been here since last week and staying until 9/9. Place has only been about half full since we got here. Expect it to start filling up today and tomorrow. We have been doing our sight seeing and such during the week and will just sit back and relax over the weekend at the camp site.
