Where can we camp to hear wolves?
Coyotes are everywhere -- even in suburban Orange County. But I have never heard a wolf howling (except on Youtube). Where are we most likely to hear wolves? My guess is somewhere in Yellowstone, b...

Have been here and it is GREAT. Take the tour, well worth the donation. We also stayed in the campground. Very peaceful until the Wolves start howling (evening & early morning) but that is what you are there for. What is really great is when they start howling you can walk over closer to the compound and actually watch them. The last miles to the sanctuary is on a wide dirt road but can have a little washboard.
