I would go to Myrtle Beach for that length of time, that time of year. More to do than on the Outer Banks, less expensive maybe than Williamsburg for a month. But there are also places like Virginia Beach,
When I lived and worked in Myrtle Beach, the three southeast counties of NC were in my work area, Wilmington, Fort Fisher and the southern NC beaches were a day trip, sometimes several days a week. We would drive to Wilmington for shopping (MB being a little empty place 45 years ago).
Do you play golf? Myrtle Beach or the pinehills area of NC, between Fayetteville and the SE coast.
