where to go in socal

we have tried pismo beach, hemet, santee lakes and san diego.
we don't go anymore because we got tired of very loud heat pumps in RVs next to us. yes we asked- heat pumps!
and the sites are so close together and the permanents are not the tidiest.
yes we are grumbling - but it would be half our life per year.

where do you folks know about that is quiet?
we do not like the dust of AZ.
mexico ? no way!
thanks all
we live in BC

Outdoor Resorts-Palm Springs, Outdoor Resorts-Indio or Motorcoach Country Club,
it seems that these places only rent their spaces while the owner of the site is waiting for someone to buy it! that is what outdoor wrote.

thanks but we do not do well in deserts!
    thanks
At those three resorts, the only way to know you are in the desert is if someone tells you. They are all completely covered with grass, palm trees, water features, flowers etc. The entire Palm Springs area is literally an oasis. There isn't a better spot to winter if your tastes run to culture, shopping, golf, dining etc. And you don't get the traffic of the coastal cities. If it gets too hot, take the tram up to the top of the mountains. Right now there is plenty of snow to give you your winter fix.

.BLM etc, does somebody come round to empty the black tank etc?what stops people from running their noisy generators?i see many of these places are in the dusty desert!
No, but in some places you can pay for it. Few do.
em... i don't think my constipation would last 5 months! what do people do?
    thanks
If you are constipated for anywhere close to 5 months, you have serious problems. You would need something much stronger than Ex-Lax. I would recommend finding a good Gastroenterologist.
  • seriously when the honey tank or whatever does not visit the area do you all have to drive somewhere every week to dump your black tanks?

i doubt they are RV parks as such - just a place to sell tiny real estate! my still go.
    thanks

His 11 year old 29' coach most likely would not be excepted in those three resorts.

Maybe a private lot in the foothills in Yuma would work for him?

Why yes. It's not a big deal.... really! If you're good at conservation you could perhaps go longer than a week.
