Where to park 21' rv in San Francisco

We're in SF IN OUR 21' TOYOTA HUNTSMAN. WOULD LIKE TO PARK IN A FREE,LEGAL,SAFE PLACE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AND STAY IN A HOTEL IN THE CITY. IT SEEMS THERE IS A RESTRICTION PREVENTING VEHICLES OVER 7 FEET HIGH FROM PARKING OVERNIGHT IN THE CITY. I ALSO READ THERE IS AN OVERSIZED VEHICLE RESTRICTION AT BART STATIONS. WE THOUGHT WE COULD PARK AT THE SOUTH SF BART STATION. Any suggestions?

  • Some hotels have ground level parking. Any chance you could book into a place like that? Park the RV in their own lot. I am looking at one..the Motel Capri...that has a groud level open pking lot. Just a thought, but you should be able to find something like that.

    Hotel Mira Vista, Berkley North..same/same.

Ocean Park Motel..no pix of paking lot but cool looking place. I'd call.

Yep. You can start by losing the caps. Secondly you might try Boondockers.com which worked great for us. Good luck.

Why does CAPS bother you? Does it hurt your eyes to read large letters or is it bc you imagine someone screaming and just can't take it? My phone's keyboard malfunctioned...SORRY

It's exhausting to post a question and receive replies like that or the one that asked, why not stay in an RV park. We were meeting family in sf and staying in a hotel. I was looking for a place to leave the rv for a couple of days. Hence the specific question i posted.

For the same reason any "normal" computer user hates all caps, hard to read. Sorry for the wardrobe uh keyboard malfunction. Lol.
As for exhausting to post a question all I can say is .... really. This is a tuff forum to be part of if you are thin skinned.

  • Free and LEGAL should not be used together with San Francisco. You're out of luck..Dennis
  • I just answered in your duplicate post on this forum. Free and legal in the city isn't going to happen. Why not stay in a RV park and skip the hotel?
