We stayed in Crescent City CA at the KOA. We took the Howland Hills scenic drive (don't miss it!). Google it. Then we moved to Redcrest to Ancient Redwoods RV park. Love it!! You can walk to some of the redwoods. https://www.nps.gov/redw/planyourvisit/drives.htm
