- Us_out_WestExplorerWe stayed at Pechanga a couple of years ago after picking up our new rig in Menifee. We only planned on a couple of days but ended up staying a week.
Great in itself but close to a lot of other places to visit. - aerbus32Explorer IIOn the map they may look close, but Hemet is not Palm Springs. For the Palm Springs area, we use Indian Waters in Indio. For the Hemet area, we use Pechanga in Temecula. You will not be disappointed by either of these parks. You'll find Indio warmer than Temecula which has more of a Mediterranean climate. Indio is desert. Temecula is boutique wine country that offers easy access, if you watch the traffic patterns, to San Diego, Disneyland, etc. Temecula is socioeconomically vastly superior to Indio or Hemet.
- netjamExplorerStayed at Golden Village Palms last year. Nice park, all amenities etc. No other park in Hemet comes close. The only negative is that if you have a rig longer than 35' and want to stay a month or more, you won't like it. They have great long pull thrus but will only rent them for short term stays. The longer stays are given back ins that are short (35') by todays standards. They will make you fit but the rear of your rv will be in the hedge while your front will be out in the road.

- Garry_GayleExplorerYou coming to Hemet or Palm Springs? there is a mountain between them about 60 mi worth. The best park in Hemet is the Golden Village Palms RV ResortClicky
