Who else feels the pull to head north.
I just got the itch to start heading north. Must not be the only one since the park is beginning to empty. Makes me wonder if we're not like those birds that we're compared to. Who else feels the urge...

Really :h. Start speaking French, and tell me how that works for you in NC.
Traveling is a form of continued education and the surest way to stay young both in heart and mind.
Why on earth would I need to speak French in the foothills of NC, or anywhere else in the US?
BTW. I have traveled all over the lower 48. Walked beside the Erie Canal. Stayed in the highest Mountain Valley in the US, Rode down the Coast Highway. Even went to Mexico. As of yet. I have seen no reason to head North on purpose. I have been forced to go up there a few times.
However. IF I was FORCED to live in another state. Texas would be my choice. NC is as far North as I ever want to be again.
