Wytheville KOA, VA
We stayed here just overnight but it is a very nice, clean campground. Everyone was very nice and it looks like a great place to spend a few days, looks like plenty of stuff for kids to do.

I've overnighted a couple of times at Fort Chiswell. Easy access off of I-77/I-81. And just far enough over a hill to not hear the expressway traffic.
