Yellowstone-Fishing Bridge or Outside Park
We're going to be staying at Yellowstone for 5 nights at the end of May. We had been planning to stay all of them at Fishing Bridge but someone mentioned we'd be wasting a lot of hours driving around...

I think you'll do great at Fishing Bridge. Yellowstone is HUGE! No matter where you stay you're not going to see it all, but I think staying outside the park will be more limiting than anywhere inside. We went the last week of May 2013 and I can't wait to go back. It's amazing! We did 4 nights at Norris and 2 at Fishing Bridge, and while we preferred the more rustic setting at Norris, Fishing Bridge afforded us some hookups and showers and was very clean and peaceful. We saw lots of wildlife while we were there. You're going to have SO much fun!
