Yellowstone NP, June 9 thru June 27

Question

Our stay at Grand Teton NP, Gros Ventre campground is ending. We have again had a great week here. Hotter than normal for this time of year. I have posted a few pictures in my "Travel Photos" link.

Friday, we will be going to Yellowstone for 17 nights. 9 at Madison and 8 at Mammoth.

If you happen to see this White Jeep Cherokee parked in a pull out or other place, stop and say hello.

What will be interesting is how you plan to spend) 17 days in Yellowstone. This will give you time to read the book `Tracking the Spirit of Yellowstone' by a former Ranger.

We were there a few weeks ago. Stayed in Madison but Mammoth looked like there is more privacy between sites.We saw a momma grizzly and 3 cubs on the road between Norris and Canyon. We ate at the Old faithful Inn. Neat place with good food. We also ate in Gardiner,Wyoming at the Cowboy Lodge and Cafe. Good food there too.

We were in the park yesterday with two bears sightings between Mammoth and Tower. Beautiful day in the park. Fortunately we didn't see or read about any stupid acts yesterday. But it won't continue, it's just a matter of time!
