Yes you can buy diesel, it will be more expensive than outside the park. Campfires are prohibited in Fishing Bridge RV Park. You get a paved parking pad and that is it. It is extremely tight, no picnic table, no Wifi, no cable TV. Yellowstone park as a whole is managed to limit the human footprint. The intent is to congregate all people and services in as small an area as possible. That keeps Yellowstone as wild and natural as possible. Fishing Bridge RV Park is a base camp for touring Yellowstone that offers water, sewer and electricity. No one in their right mind would go to Fishing Bridge for the RV Park only. You will be getting up early, touring and arriving home late. There are very limited services in the immediate area, limited groceries, limited food services and they are expensive. Have all your supplies with you when you arrive.
