Okie, as far as we could tell, there was not another person within five miles of us! The access road was long and rough, which would discourage most folks -- and there was no fishing anywhere nearby. We intentionally sought out a very remote and isolated place -- we live in southern California, which is a crowded and noisy place, so silence and privacy are priceless. Just the wind in the trees, rather than the distant roar of the freeways.
