Okie, there is lots of very quiet boondocking in Wyoming -- this was taken in the Gros Ventre National Forest:

It was quiet, but not silent -- elk bugling, grouse drumming (sounded like someone trying to start a motorcycle with a poorly maintained carburetor), and coyotes howling at the moon.
