If after cleaning and checking temps it still doesn't seem to be cutting it, try having it cool only the main area. Many units have what some call quick cool which is just opening discharges on the unit itself, you are cutting off the bedroom ac altogether. If that can be done, and satisfactorily cools the living room, then a small (6000 to 8000btu ) portable could be added and vented out a window, just for the bedroom. In many cases you will even have an additional 15-20 amp outlet available on the power pedestal to hook an extension cord to for power, leaving the trailer system unaffected.
