13.5 to 15?
2002 Keystone Cougar 278EFS (5th wheel) - about 28' long. I serviced the A/C this spring before it got hot. It has now got HOT. I have a 13.5K BTU original Dometic ducted with thermostat. If I camp in direct sunlight, the RV insides can get up to about 80 degrees with door shut most of the day and shades drawn.
I am not happy with 80 degrees and wonder if anyone who camps in warmer climes has upgraded from 13.5K to 15K unit. How much difference in cooling? I know I could run another A/C by taking out a ceiling vent and doing some 12/2 pull but would rather not go that route. If you have gone 13.5 to 15, what is the prognosis for a cool cabin?
