2000 Dodge Pleasure-Way Excel-RD help with Backup camera
Hi Anyone,
I bought a wireless backup camera and monitor and have wired in the monitor with no problems. Now I want to wire in the backup camera at the rear of the van and am having trouble as how to get the 12 volt and ground to the camera. I thought maybe I could wire it to the rear upper clearance marker lights so when I wanted to view out back I would simply put the light on when needed. I didn't want the camera wired to the reverse backup lights.
What I could use help with is, can the camera be wire off the power to these marker lights or just how to get the wire to the location where the camera will be mounted which is in the center between the clearance markers and the upper brake light?
