Not sure if it would be bright enough, but what about those under cabinet light strips for the kitchen. Might be able to mount above the mirror or put one on either side if there is room and plug them in. I bought a do it yourself kit and it came with the plug end. You cut the wire to however long you need, then attach the plug for the receptacle.
