Bought a couple of GE 3 led batt powered lights at Home Depot. Put one on each side of the cabinet/mirror. Bright, but no shadows when shaving!! Basically just for that purpose. They have a "touch" switch.

See now that they are 2 led, 3 led version discontinued, although there may be some still out there in some stores stock.
