- Pangaea_RonExplorerDon't do it. You will be cleaning water spots forever.
And people complain about black streaks. - FloridaFlyer86ExplorerHaha sounds like you are speaking from experience
- Pangaea_RonExplorerI have clients that wanted dark brown or black toilets installed in their bathrooms. I let them, and they hated me for it.

PPL LINK - FloridaFlyer86ExplorerWow quite a price premium on the stylin' color option eh? Going to eat into my maid budget for keeping those water spots buffed off haha. Thanks biscuit! Any experience with that model? Regardless of color im going to be in the market soon doing a cargo trailer conversion
- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIHave the Aqua Magic Style Plus high profile with sprayer in 5vr.
Been using it FT for 7 yrs.
Had to replace bowl seal once......my fault, I tore it
And had to replace water valve.....my fault, I broke it when installing a shut-off valve on water line to toilet
Otherwise been a good toilet.......for a toilet. I'm more into functionality vs decor :B - FloridaFlyer86ExplorerHaha amen to that.. working on the toilet time is better spent doing something else and I've spent a fair share fighting with the bowl seal on my sealand. Prefer to avoid that in the future !
- lanerdExplorer IIWe have a black toilet at home as is the tub and sink. Looks great, however, there are times when you're sitting on the toilet that you will need to look into the bowl for..ahhh..well, we'll leave that unsaid. In any case, being black really restricts that visual requirement. And as mentioned, leaves water spots on rim, especially if you do your #1 business standing up.
Ron - kalynzooExplorerA thought: There a companies (franchises) that repair and refurbish sinks baths and toilets. They basically paint and then resin coat the old product. When we looked into it for the house they offered any color we wished. Ended up getting a new sink instead. Just a thought.
