- BuzzGladeExplorerI have the Rear View Safety system using the wireless option which works great. They have multiple systems available, up to 4 cameras, wired or wireless. Mine works well; no complaints. Just a little pricey.
- fcooperExplorerI don't have experience with the voyager system, but after looking at it online, I think the system referenced below compares favorably for a lot less money. I have purchased from this vendor in the past, and it was good quality (CCD cameras instead of CMOS).

If you don't have a pan/tilt rear camera, there are some benefits to having two cameras on the rear of the vehicle. One can be aimed at the tow bar/toad and the second can be aimed at the traffic behind the rv.

Start looking on Amazon for the parts and pieces to put a system together, it'll cost you half as much and be a better system if you do your research and choose your parts correctly. I put a backup camera on my pickup as well as a rear view camera on my toy hauler for less then $60 piecing it together off Amazon.
Muddy sent me info on his system he put together. I will try to post the info he sent me.
He put one of these on the truck and the trailer. Camera
Monitor
This setup is a direct plug system per muddy. He plugs in the camera just like the trailer plug, and ran rca cables under the truck up into the cab to plug in to the monitor. The length of rca cables you will need will vary depending on your trailer and truck. So measure once and order twice!!! Lol You may need the female to female barrel connectors as well. Muddy used heat shrink tube over all the rca connectors to protect them.
Hope this works!!! Lol - bestcameraExplorerMy friend bought a wired one for his motorhome. It is a two-camera system and works great so far.

It's in forum tech support but hard to find.
Thanks very much, Muddydogs and NeedAvacation - I love bargains and just ordered them. I will use my present wireless set for the side blindspot and the new one for the rear view. - Harvey51ExplorerHey, Muddydogs and NeedAvacation, would you care to cooperate on this camera/monitor install?
I have the monitor already, record time for free shipping from China. I see the monitor has red and black wires, not much doubt about those, though it would be nice to know what voltage is expected. What the heck is the green wire for?
Two coax leads, with RCA connectors, one of each gender. Trial and error on those, I guess.
Read the details on Amazon. Some unfavourable comments - poor resolution, color and some buyers got duds.
The extra wire allows switching on/off while leaving the power on all the time. Not sure what that means but it suggests connecting the green to positive to power both simultaneously.
The two video connectors are for two cameras or other inputs, switched via the remote, I guess. Good news.
Power supply 9 to 24 volts. - MuddydogsExplorer

As you figured the red and black wire are you typical pos and neg connection. The green wire is also a power wire, kind of a power switch override if you will. In a typical backup camera use the green wire is hooked to a power source that only powers up when you put the rig in reverse so the monitor will come on when backing and shut off when not in reverse. Easiest way to handle the green wire is run it back to your reverse light and wire it as well as your backup camera into the light. I didn't hook up the green wire as I only use the backup camera when hitching up plus I forgot about the wire until after I had the other cables ran. If you are not going to use the green wire leave it unhooked.
Yes this is a 2 feed monitor, there is a button on the face of the monitor to change which feed you want to see. I hook both my trailer camera and truck backup camera to the RCA leads and just switch to the one I want to view. The female to female adapters I think I linked in my write up work on the male lead. I think the remote switches the video feed as well as the switch on the monitor, I have never used the remote as my monitor is within easy reach of the drivers seat. - MuddydogsExplorerMy cameras and monitor has been working for 2 years with no problems.
Not sure what to say about the color or resolution as all I want to do is be able to see the hitch when hitching or if there are any cars behind the camper. Picture in my opinion is just fine, what one has to remember is there are so many environmental factors that effect the picture quality it changes from time of day and to corner to corner. Road grime on the camera, angle of sun on camera, lighting conditions, amount of glare on monitor and view angle of monitor all effect the picture but then again I'm not watching a National Geographic special in high definition I'm just wanting to know if someone is hiding in my blind spot or if I am far enough ahead of the tractor trailer that I can move back into the slow lane. - TurnThePageExplorerIt would sure be nice if they could integrate one of these systems in with the OEM display so many newer tow vehicles already have. I will probably mod my Ram so I can use the rear view camera that's been installed on my trailer for the last 10 years.
