Bought a 36' 5th wheel for 400$, pretty big DIY project

This thread will be very photo intensive! Just letting you know. Well, was looking for a good deal on a 5th wheel in the 2500$ range, something older, late 80s early 90s, and figured why spend that...

You sure have yourself a project. As a thought. You mentioned that the walls were mushy from water leaks. Also you topped the floor with USB and it was insulated with a metal underbelly. My concern would be how much moisture got into the flooring & underbelly. Can it be vented enough to completely dry out before covering it with new material, possibly starting the rot on your new work. Anyway, just a thought. Good luck..We'll be watching for your progress..
