Buy Gas Hose - 1997 Atwood 3 burner stove

Hi... I brought an Atwood 1997 3 burner stove. I want to attach a propane tank to the stove but i'm unable to find a gas hose for the stove. Is the stove obsolete and should I move on????? I ca...

There is nothing copper under the stove top cover. If I cover the gas hose that is exposed to the heat with a copper tube that is larger than the 5/8" hose......would that be enough safeguard from the heat????
