Sounds like "batteries" indicates more than one. Did you wire them in a series or parallel, did you mistakenly reverse polarity? Things like wipers may work forwards or backwards.

Are you sure you hooked the batteries up correctly? If it is not obvious which cables go where did you take some pictures before starting.

Lots more info needed. Did you change the house battery or chassis battery? What type of RV is this? Did you change it out to the proper, well charged battery?

Well i took the old batteries out not the house batteries the chassis ones and placed new ones in hooked them up than i go into the RV to start it the lights come on the dash the wipers come on i don’t know why they do that it’s a 1998 FW Discovery Diesel
