Composting toilet
I'm thinking about a composting toilet in my TT. I have the room for it but I would like to know if anyone has gone this route?

Be aware that the colder it is, the less composting occurs. very cold weather - wait until spring! - Yes but it'll be inside in the heat. I'll be living in the trailer year round.
- A neighbor had one in his cabin, said it worked OK for pee, but all he got was hot poop. He replaced it with a septic system.
- Based upon my limited experience with them, I would worry about odor.

There's one made in Sweden and they claim they've made one that has no smell and the company has been around for decades.
I'm trying to avoid a septic system if possible. - I always wonder what folks actually do with the "end product" of this kind of system. True composting- that is, total breakdown/pathogen kill/transformation to "dirt"- takes time more than anything else....does one store the "stuff" somewhere until that stage is reached and then just toss it in the garden, or what???
