Control city water supply with 12v water valve

When we leave our RV at a FHU campground to go sightseeing, shopping, etc., I try to remember to turn off the city water supply at the pedestal. To make this process a little simpler, I am consideri...

Basic workable idea. I like gadgets but hate dealing with bundles of wire and bad solenoids and capacitors,now, so I'll stick with manual for a while.
Let us know how it works out.
If I was ten years younger the controls and valves and the entire MH would be different.
I would rather fish instead.
