I just bought this decent quality one on ebay for $40 (incl. shipping). Made by a known brand, Parker that is made in the US. Has CSA & UL listing which many of them don't seem to have.
The remote key fob sounds like a nice idea but I already have two fobs on my keyring. The trick will be to remember to turn the water off when leaving. Think I might put a standard decorator style toggle switch on the wall near the entry door and might use an illuminated type.
