Control city water supply with 12v water valve

I did exactly what you want to do.I have a switch at the door and it works fine. I did make up up short hose with the valve in the middle and quick connects at both ends. I can take it in or out when I want to.it has worked fine for 2 years plus. Some campgrounds have the hookup valve on the otherside, and it can be a payne.
