Hi,
Solar air conditioning is a reality now--but it does not come cheaply.
Best to park some where that has power and get a hybrid inverter/charger, such as the ones from Magnum, Outback, and Victron.
To do solar air:
1. move to a 24 or 48 volt LI battery bank
2. install 1600 watts of solar with a top of the line charge controller.
3. add a DC to DC converter for the (minimal) 12 volt needs of the RV.
