ive got 2 generators, a champion 1500 watt and a Westinghouse 1800 watt. The
westinghouse is supposedly "quieter". The champion has been in the box for a year, I bought it for other reasons. Another thought is to not worry so much with the solar, but put more $$ in batteries, and run the generator to charge a large bank of batteries, then run everything off the batteries. When I'm done with my muffler, I'll post picks. Basically, it is layers of 5/8 drywall with glue between and mineral wool batts as well. Hoping to come up with a design that really kills the noise.
