Since you are so insistent on using a material that will be substandard, I hope you will at least use water resistant drywall, the type intended for use in bathrooms.
I can find no information on using sheet rock as a thermal (or cool) sink.
RV's are generally hotter than Hades in the summer, and just the opposite in the winter.
I have a so called four season unit. During winter time it takes up to 7000 watts to keep it warm. That works out to 23884 btu's. My RV is highly modified using insulbright on all windows, vents, sky lights, and entry door. I've also where ever possible added additional insulation.
