Do you regret getting rid of your RV cornices?

RV cornices (aka valance - they go over the top of your curtains head rails and usually also cover the sides, framing your window blinds), not always a love story LOL. It's tempting to get rid of them...

Window cornices (pelmets) are typically made of wood and may be fabric covered, while window valences are typically made with fabric matching or contrasting with the curtains. I didn't remove the cornices in my coach, but I did mod them to a narrower profile opening up more usable window area.
