I would ensure the batt fluids are topped off, and plan to run the gen as needed daily to keep it charged. Bring enough gas to ensure that if needed you can run it for a tank each day as a "worst case scenario". My Honda 2000 runs aprox 8 hrs on a gallon, so I would want maybe 5-7 gallons along for a week.
As long as your not using lots of 12v power (furnace etc) then you should be just fine. 2nd battery as backup wont hurt either. Have fun...dry camping is awesome.
