Rediscovered this thread-ran to HD- picked up an ignition kit. Took the face plate off after a lot of eyballing. I was centered between original knob and left screw holes. Seems to be some differances in clearance mostly the bent header pipe. Mine barley fit. Spent more time trying to locate hole than doing this mod.
Cool-push the button, lil blue spark snap,snap,snap until you let go. Going to be so much nicer lighting the oven. I noted prices all over the place. I found the generator for as low as $6 on amazon, I paid more for mine but it came with electrodes, need 1 more, (and didnt have to wait for it). Only problem once package opened its only got 3 terminals but as we never use center top burner Not an issue till I can include another generator on an order to get free ship.
 
Personaly the constant sparking seems a lot safer than waving an extended lighter around in oven. Be really nice in the morning starting the coffee. But not having to lie on the floor to light oven, nice.
