Our "Wedgewood Vision" range, which also carries the Atwood Logo, works as described immediately above. I just ran a simple test. Pressed Oven Knob, turned to Pilot and released. Came back in a minute with a lighter. Struck once and pilot lit immediately. This tells me that the time I was "trying to heat a thermocouple" was actually "waiting for the LPG to flow."
So now I know this mod will work on our stove and oven. Now what I need is a four-wire "generator" and the electrodes to make it work.
Or, I think I could wire the new generator to the three existing electrodes on the stovetop burners and add a new one to the Oven.
